Symbols and bullet points

Excel lets you enter various symbols into cells without changing fonts to Windings and alongside regular alpha-numeric characters.

These symbols can be used to create lists of bullet points, either within a single cell or across a range of cells.

The characters are entered by typing <Alt> + <number code>. This must be done using the number keypad to the right of the key board and not the number keys at the top of your keyboard (e.g.  <Alt> + <9>.

It is possible to put a line break within a cell of text by typing <Alt> + <Enter>. This would let you put a series of bullet points within a single cell.
